As explained above, the principle is almost the same – same pigments, tools, and procedure. Most people will not be able to tell the difference between microblading and BoldBrows.

However, BoldBrows technique is advanced and more sophisticated, so those who are familiar with it will definitely choose it over regular microblading. Natural is trendier so it’s understandable why Bold Brows take the win here.

For most clients, a minimum of two treatments are usually needed, at least 6-8 weeks apart.
Cosmetic tattooing is a 2-step process…
Your Initial First Session is used to build the foundation of your brows, eyeliner or lips.
Your First Perfecting Session, is to perfect the shape and colour and add more substance.
If you have had the previous tattoo worked on your brows you must book in for a consultation with one of our technicians for assessment.

We apply an anesthetic cream prior to your procedure and continue to keep the area being treated numb during your procedure to keep you comfortable.

Pain thresholds differ from person to person; however, every effort is made to keep you as comfortable as possible.

At PhiBeauty we use the Tina Davies pigment line. This pigment line is 100% safe and cruelty-free. These pigments have never been tested on animals and do not contain animal by-products.

Yes, we are registered with the local Health Council and have procedures in place to maintain a sterile safe environment for our clients.

PhiBrows is basically a brand of microbladed eyebrows and great for people who have sparse and thin brows, while BoldBrows creates hair movement that gives super natural, hyperrealistic and bushy look.

The PhiAcademy members use their own tools and pigments and their name is known for quality.

  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is advisable that you do not go ahead with this procedure.
  • If you are prone to Keloid Scarring.
  • If you suffer from any major health conditions (diabetes, heart disease, cancer etc) we will require a doctor’s certificate or a letter from your specialist.
  • If you have any allergies to hair dyes, makeup or jewellery.
  • If you are taking medications.
  • We advise not to consume Aspirin, Ibuprofen, caffeine or alcohol 24-48 hours prior to your procedure. Avoid taking fish oil supplements a week prior.  However, do not discontinue any medications before consulting your Doctor.
  • Tattooing will not be performed over blemishes, sores and moles around the brow area.
  • Avoid cosmetic injectables, microdermabrasion, skin peels etc 2 weeks prior to and two weeks after your cosmetic tattoo.
  • If you are sick with a bacterial or viral infection, you will need to call us immediately to reschedule your appointment.

,p>The Ombré technique is a soft and misty powder-filled brow, similar to a brow powder makeup look. The tails of the brows will be darker and fade into a softer look towards the front of the brow.

Microblading, also known as Feather Stroke Tattoo, is a form of Cosmetic Tattooing.

In this process, we implant tiny hair, like strokes into the top layer of the Dermis of the skin, using a one-use sterile hand tool.

This is a semi-permanent process, as the pigment is implanted on a superficial layer of the skin, which lasts up to 12 months, depending on your skin type.
