Eyebrows Tattoo Pre-Care:

Strict adherence to pre-care instructions is imperative to minimize bleeding and skin sensitivities during the service. Excessive bleeding and sensitivity can dilute and expel pigment, leading to unsatisfactory results.

Ensure your skin is free from irritations, including blemishes, eczema, and psoriasis.

Refrain from Accutane medication / Retinoid and Retinol for at least six months before your Cosmetic Tattoo.

Cease the use of Fish Oil, Vitamin C, Glucosamine, Evening Primrose Oil, and Ginger one week prior to your appointment, as they thin the blood and hinder correct pigment implantation. Discontinue anti-aging, skin brightening, or anti-acne skincare products, especially those with Alpha Hydroxy (AHA), Vitamin A, and, for at least 30 days before your appointment. Resume your skincare routine six weeks after your final session.

Avoid facials, microdermabrasion, microneedling, peels, or laser treatments for at least four weeks before your appointment. Refrain from cosmetic injections on the forehead two weeks prior.

Do not take blood-thinning medication, including Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Advil, Niacin, Voltaren, Indocid, prenatal vitamins, Vitamin E, or nutritional shakes for 72 hours before, unless advised otherwise by your doctor. Tylenol is recommended for those with low pain tolerance.

Refrain from working out on the procedure day. Avoid sun tanning or tanning beds for two weeks before; a sunburn requires rescheduling and forfeits your deposit. Abstain from tweezing, threading, waxing, tinting, or electrolysis one week before.

Ensure scars from surgery or injury have healed for at least one year before the service. Abstain from alcohol and caffeine products 24 hours before. Note increased sensitivity during your menstrual cycle.

Failure to follow pre-care may result in forfeiting your appointment and deposit.

Eyebrows Tattoo Post-Care

Immediately after the procedure, embrace yourself for a significantly darker and sharper color intensity, which is completely normal. The brows will soften by 30-50%, and over the next ten days, they will start fading, with the true color emerging in 6-8 weeks. Don’t be alarmed if the color seems to vanish during the healing process; it’s a temporary effect caused by skin layers forming.

Appointment (Day 1)

For the first 4 hours post-procedure, gently blot the area hourly with a wet wipe to absorb excess lymph fluid. Continue until oozing stops to prevent crusting. After cleansing, apply a thin layer of the provided ointment to add moisture. Avoid aggressive movements and never apply ointment to a wet tattoo.

(Days 2 – 3)

Expect redness, minimal swelling, tenderness, flaking, and dryness, which are common for 1 to 10 days. Wash brows daily with a gentle patting motion, avoiding scrubbing. Dry healing is crucial once scabbing or flaking begins.

(Day 3 – 10) DRY HEAL

Apply a rice-sized amount of ointment 2 to 3 times a day, patting gently to saturate scabs. Avoid rubbing or excessive application. Let soft scabs naturally flake off to ensure successful pigment retention.

Avoid the Following:

  • Rubbing, picking, or scratching to prevent uneven healing and infection.
  • Direct sun exposure/tanning for 4 weeks; wear protective gear.
  • Heavy sweating, exercise, and hot environments for 10 days.
  • Skincare or cosmetics on the treated area for 30 days.
  • Exfoliants, acids, and Vitamin A for 30 days.
  • Driving in open air vehicles, tasks with airborne debris for safety.
  • Facials, microdermabrasion, peels, or laser treatments for 4 weeks.
  • Brow tinting for 2 weeks after the procedure.
  • Excessive alcohol consumption for optimal wound healing.

After healing, brows may appear lighter due to natural skin regeneration. Unevenness is normal, and a follow-up after 4-5 weeks ensures desired results. Healed outcomes vary, and additional touch-up sessions may be needed. Following post-care is crucial for the best results, considering individual regeneration, age, immune system, and lifestyle.
